In Memory of
Mark Christensen
Mark passed away unexpectedly in October of 2025 at just 55 years old. We never had the chance to meet him, but after learning more about his life and the way he loved his animals, we truly wish we had. From everything we’ve heard, Mark was the kind of person everyone was lucky to know. He was full of humor, kindness, and a deep love for the life he built on his farm with his family and animals.
Mark’s dream was simple and beautiful: to live out in the country surrounded by the people and animals he loved, especially his donkeys. And from what we can tell… he was well on his way to achieving that dream.
It is a tremendous honor for us to now care for Peaches, Waffles, and Daisy, and we carry that responsibility with a lot of heart. These sweet donkeys were clearly loved, and we promise to continue giving them the care, safety, and affection they deserve.
While we never met Mark, we hope that by caring for the donkeys he loved, we can help carry forward a small piece of his dream- a life full of animals, laughter, and long ears.
Mark, thank you for loving these donkeys first. We’ll take it from here.
